So, its been a while! There has just been so much going on lately I just haven’t found the time to get any blogging done. The backlog is enormous and I promise I will get round to writing all my posts and doing this more regularly.
In the last 3 months I have been back to England 3 times, been working full time, upping my gym intake and spending most of my free time cooking…which hasn’t left much time for writing – I have missed it!
Anyway, the main purpose of this post. I have had several orders on recently with new and exciting designs to try out, I will post some of the others soon but for now here is my 2 tier aeroplane cake.
This was for little Leonardo who had just turned one, his whole birthday party was themed around this little red aeroplane which sat on the top. His parents had asked for his name to be on the cake so I decided to paint this directly onto the cake as if the plane had left it in the sky as a vapour trail. 
The cake looks quite large, when in actual fact it was a 4 and a 6 inch cake so give the same yield of cake as a 8 inch cake, it just looks abit cooler!
