The best thing about taking orders from people is it gives you a great excuse to try out different techniques. Like this lovely ombre ruffle effect. I have been wanting to do this for a little while- just never had an excuse to do it!

There is no denying that this effect is pretty labour intensive, a full 3 1/2 hours and several hundreds of flowers. If you want to give it a try please cake a look at my tutorial coming up in the next couple of days.
